Christmas Day

First of all go to our pictures for the latest pictures of today. It has been a fun but slightly chaotic day :) We got to sleep in a little, though 10:30 would have been fine with me :p we got up at 9:30ish and while eating breakfast Aaron, Sarah and Jeremiah showed up...Jeremiah wanted blooberries which we had on our french toast and even ate some of the cheese grits.

After breakfast we headed upstairs to watch Jeremiah get his new bike, which btw he says quite clearly. We watched him play on that for a while while we adults talked about all different things. After this we decided since it was lunch time that we would start making the cheese fondue. So we started just with cheddar and then Chad and Cherise walked in so we decided that we would do a full out lunch adding the rest of the bread, veggies and making the swiss cheese. Mom Rapier started to put Jeremiah down for his nap and just then Granny, Uncle Ricky and Austin walked in. So we kept an eye on the cheese on the table and got Jeremiah up and visited with the family. After that Jeremiah went down and the rest of us sat down for lunch. It was quite yummy and filling. I was very full 1/2 way through! After that my parents called and Caleb and I enjoyed a quick chat with them...

After Sarah read a really great version of the Christmas story and Jeremiah woke up we opened our presents to each other. As much as I would like to say the dinosaurs that Chad and Cherise got Jeremiah and the cool Thomas train set, (legos of course) I think his favorite thing today was the two veggie tales coloring books that he got. The rest of the day was spent hanging out, eating meat fondue, watching part of the dolphins game and playing card games and eating chocolate fondue. It has been a busy but fun day. We are looking forward to a brief trip to Granny and Papa's in Atlanta, a quick stop at our house to drop of some stuff and pick up some other stuff and head to Kristen and Joey's to quickly spend the night.
